Nicky's Thai Kitchen to open Downtown
Nicky's Thai Kitchen will open before the end of the year at 903 Penn Ave., confirmed David Brunner, general manager of the restaurant. The location is the third restaurant opening from chef owner Ratthasak "Nick" Insawang. The original location in Verona has since closed.
While the smaller North Side location will remain BYO, beer, wine, sake and Thai beverages will be available at the 70-seat restaurant.
The lunch and dinner menus will adhere to the originals, though chef specials will vary.
Mr. Brunner said he hopes to open by December, though he acknowledged permits and construction may cause delays.
